This activity calls for a discussion
of two questions. You might want to divide the class into two
groups, one of which works on Question 1 (conserving resources
for your Neighborhood of the Present), and one of which works
on sharing ideas about future energy sources for your Neighborhood
of the Future.
Activity Steps:
1. Share ideas about what needs
to be conserved in your own neighborhood and ways in which you
might do this. Write no
more than 2-3 paragraphs about this topic and enter it in the
Forum of the Commons in
Linking Up Villages
(LUV) Neighborhood.
2. Share ideas about your selection
of new energy sources for your Neighborhood of the Future.
We may decide to use the optional
Neighborhood Chat room. Watch for bulletins!
