Our suggestions for multiple step conversions using other forms of energy:
a flashlight shining on your hand warms it chemical -> electrical -> light -> thermal a pumpkin dropped off a tall building potential -> kinetic -> heat going down a playground slide chemical (sugar) -> potential -> kinetic -> heat hand whipping dough chemical (sugar in you) -> kinetic (motion of whip) -> heat (from friction between whip and dough) running on a treadmill chemical -> kinetic -> thermal turning on light in your room electrical -> thermal and light -> thermal a bee flying across a room sunlight -> chemical (sugar) -> kinetic (wings) -> thermal (air is warmed, ever so slightly) ***Note how everything ends in thermal.
